A Letter From Our Recruitment Chair
Hello and Welcome! I am Liv Knapinski and I proudly serve as the Recruitment Chair for the Pi Mu Chapter of Chi Omega. My sisters and I are so excited to meet all of you and share about our experiences in Chi Omega.
When I came through recruitment I had just moved across the country and knew absolutely no one. I had no idea what it meant to be in a sorority or if being in one was meant for me. When I walked into Chi Omega I knew this was a group of women who truly support you for who you are. The kindness and enthusiasm these women showed to me throughout recruitment made me fall in love with this sisterhood. To this day these values stand true, in Chi Omega you can come as you are and become part of a sisterhood that cherishes you.
I have been in Chi Omega for three years now and have truly met my best friends. My sisters push me to be the best version of myself and support me as I grow in college. I still find comfort and love in my sister's humor, compassion, acceptance and loyalty. To be in Chi Omega is to be a part of something bigger than yourself, it is being a part of a genuine sisterhood that continues to grow and develop.
My advice for recruitment is to keep an open mind and enjoy your recruitment experience. This is just the start of a new chapter in your life so keep a positive attitude! Recruitment can be a stressful time but if you focus on meeting sisters and building connections this experience can be fun. Lastly, trust the process, you will end up where you belong and find a home with sisters that will love you for a lifetime.
With endless love,
Liv
